Week 8: Challenges

We have no way of growing in life without challenges. Challenges, or trials, tribulations... they all help us grow. During those trials and tribulations sometimes we just want to give up, but as we endure though it and come out to the end, we will recognize the things we learned that will help us in our future. I am so grateful for the challenges that I have had in my life because I have learned so many lessons. I am really looking forward to learning more about overcoming challenges while being an entrepreneur. There are many challenges that I will come upon and I am excited to face them. I say bring them on. I know they will shape me into the man I am supposed to be.  The Lord gives us challenges to help us grow. He does not do this to be cruel. Quite the opposite, he does this to help us become the best version of ourselves.  Our stories are all being written. Week 7: Habits

First off, see what I did with the title there? In my class, we read an outline for the book by Steven R Covey, The 7 Habits. What is interesting for me, is that I have already been reading this book in a different one of my classes. This book had been very influential in the success at many people's lives. I think that this book has the power to change the lives of everyone. I am going to talk about my favorite of the 7 habits. I will explain why is my favorite of the 7 habits.  Habit 1: Be proactive. The reason that this is my favorite of the 7 Habits is because the principle of this habit is taking charge. This is the most important habit because this is how you s...

So you want to be an entrepreneur huh? Do you think you have what it takes? Do you have the innovative mindset to find new things to bring to the needs of those who want a better life? Do you have a mental faculty that can handle all the juggling that takes place when it comes to first starting a business? Do you have the resilience and tenacity to take the risks necessary to succeed?  If being an entrepreneur were easy, everyone would do it. The thing is, it requires people to be all in. You need to sacrifice comfort and luxuries to do something that will pay off in ten fold. Some aspects that go into being an entrepreneur include things like self mastery. Having the traits of self mastery include you being your own boss. You do not let other things or other factors control you. You take control. .Those things are servants for you. You are the master of yourself. Mastery takes great time and disciple though. Another key aspect that comes with being an entrepreneur is time ma...
